Meet The Team Behind 2024 Biopic: Kneecap
Newly added to the lineup is a case study from the sync team behind Kneecap, the Bafta-winning 2024 biopic detailing the rise of the Belfast hiphop trio of the same name. Matt Biffa is an Emmy-winning music supervisor and President of the UK and European Guild of Music Supervisors. He specialises in source music research and copyright clearance, and has over 29 years experience in the business. He has worked on high-profile projects including ‘Sex Education’, ‘After Life’, ‘The End of the F*cking World’ and the Harry Potter films ‘Harry Potter & the Goblet of Fire’ and ‘Harry Potter & The Deathly Hallows’. In 2021 he and Ciara Elwis won the Emmy Award for Outstanding Music Supervision for their work on the BBC Drama ‘I May Destroy You’.

Find out at the AIM Sync ‘Listening Sessions’, where every delegate has the chance to receive direct feedback on their music from the experts.
World-leading music supervisors and brands will dissect a range of tracks and offer valuable feedback and detailed insight into their decision-making processes. Get a deep understanding of what music they would place and where, and which aspects would make it challenging to use them. Apply what you learn to your own music and approach to pitching and set yourself up for ‘sync-sess’.
If your track is not chosen, you can still tune in to watch the sessions on the day to hear invaluable advice from leading supervisors. Listening session participants will be announced shortly
